Have the facility facts ready
Food facility registration is easier when the factory details are confirmed first. You usually need the legal name, full address, contact person, food activity, and the exact site that manufactures, processes, packs, or stores the goods.
If the exporter, factory, and brand owner are different companies, write down that structure clearly before filing starts. That reduces confusion and makes buyer questions easier to answer later.
Do not leave the US Agent to the end
Foreign facilities also need a US Agent. If that part is not arranged early, it can slow the full registration process. Most exporters move faster when the facility data and US Agent coverage are handled together.
