MoCRA basics for cosmetic brands outside the United States

A simple starting guide for foreign brands preparing facility registration and product listing under the newer cosmetics rules.

What MoCRA changed

MoCRA brought more structure to cosmetic compliance in the United States. Foreign brands now need to think more carefully about who makes the product, where it is made, and which product details are tied to the US listing record.

For many brands, the first hurdle is not the filing itself. It is gathering clean product and facility data from manufacturers, brand owners, and packaging partners.

How to keep it simple

Start with a short list: facility information, product names, label copies, and the person who can confirm final product details. Once that file set is clear, registration and listing work becomes much more predictable.
